Delicious High Protein Muffins – Syntha6 by BSN
Here is a fast and delicious recipe for a high protein snack made with BSN Supplements Chocolate Milkshake flavored protein powder. These come out nice and fluffy but can be cooled and taken with you to work or school in a ziplock bag for a quick protein packed snack.
What you will need to make this recipe:
– BSN Supplements Chocolate Milkshake Protein Powder (6 scoops) – buy here
– Rumford reduced sodium baking powder (1 tbsp)- buy here
– Hecker’s 100% whole wheat flour (3 tbsp) – buy here
– Pure baking soda (1tbsp) – buy at local grocery store
– 1/2 cup of almond milk (unsweetened) – buy at local grocery store
– 1 handful of Cacao Nibs – buy here
– Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
– Mixing bow, cupcake tin, whisk, wooden spoon, oven mit
How to make & bake:
1. Spray cupcake tin with the extra virgin olive oil to help muffins come out easily and not stick to tin
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
3. Put all ingredients in mixing bowl and use whisk and wooden spoon
4. The mix will get very thick and hard quickly so once it is mixed use a spoon to put the batter in the tins
5. Fill about half way. These will rise quite a lot so if you fill too high they will rise and spill over rim
6. Bake for around 8-10 minutes or until the muffins rise and look dry on top
7. Take out of office with a mitt on and let cool on the stove
8. To check if they are done use a tooth pick and poke through the center. If no batter sticks to the stick you are good to go!
9. Let cool a bit and then enjoy!
