It Pays to Check In and Tweet about Your Favorite Brands
Thank you so much to the people at Dunkin Donuts for this amazing surprise today. I came home to a huge box that turned out to be a basket filled to the brim with coffee, goodies for my office and more! There is a backstory to why this arrived that I will share. Every day I stop at the Dunkin Donuts in Fairfield, NJ and checkin in on Foursquare and usually share it to Twitter with a photo or coffee pick of the day. Someone from their social media team happened to keep seeing my tweets and sent me a DM asking for my contact information about a project they were working on around real fans, real Dunkin stories.
In the beginning I wasn’t sure if it was real but turns out they were working on a video project they thought me and my dog would be perfect for. Turns out we were unable to film because I was traveling that week for work but they went above and beyond by sending me this awesome basket. Me and Lola are going to surely enjoy all these great treats!! There are tons of goodies like a gym bag since I had told their casting team I loved to workout, some on the go cups to take with me in the car and some mugs for home too.
I love Dunkin Donuts coffee and I always go for the drive thru ones since I usually get mine on the go on the way to work. They are fast and reliable and always have something to make my day go smoothly. I need that bit of a caffeine kick to get through the day so I opt for the iced coffee with sugar free French vanilla or the hot version when the temperature drops. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s much easier on the wallet than some other coffee shops too.
