Klout Perk – EcoTools Brushes and Naturally Beautiful Lash Set
Thank you to EcoTools for sending me this extremely generous Klout Perk package full of great eco-friendly and earth conscious beauty goodies like brushes and false lashes. I have to say this is one of the best Klout Perks I have received to date since it is right up my alley in the makeup world. I love to try out new make up products and when I find out they are also cruelty free that’s always a plus!
The box included some great packaging, it is so pretty and well put together! Inside I received a brow and eyelash brush and a large eye shadow brush, as well as two different styles of false lashes. These are both complete sets with a brush and glue applicator. Since receiving this I have started to see EcoTools brushes pop up in many places like Ulta and Harmons Beauty.
All of their items are made with earth friendly materials and recycled products. They also use natural things to make their brushes like bamboo and their lash glue contains no chemicals. I think the packaging for the brushes was super cute, like little individual sleeves that you can easily use to store the brush or take with you when you travel and don’t want to bent or ruin the bristles.
I have to admit I don’t think I had heard of EcoTools products before but I may have seen them in my local drug store, but I do think I will wind up buying some more of their items in the future just having read the brand’s missions statement on this insert in the box. They do some great things with other organizations and they really do seem to care about what they make their items out of to be conscious of the earth and environment.
So let’s talk about the brushes really briefly. They are really good quality with very very soft bristles. The large eye shadow brush is one I would probably use to put on my base and lid colors. It is a great size to cover the lid with 1-2 swipes and the brow brush really helps to shape and put your eyebrows in place. I also like that it includes the other side with the harder bristles so that you can brush your natural lash with the false ones.
The false lashes are so soft and really are of great quality. You can tell they look a lot more natural than some others. They even resemble some of the natural hair lashes I have seen online.
In this photo I have the false lash on the eye on the left of this photo. They look more voluminous and dark than false and long which I like. The lashes have adhesive on them already but you will need to apply a thin layer of the glue. The glue has an attached stick so that you don’t get that spill or overflow that other glues can have which can clog them up. The video below is just a basic iPhone video to give you some more reviews. Thanks to Klout Perks and EcoTools for these great items to sample and review!
