Howl-o-ween Costumes for your Pet
I don’t know what it is about Halloween but it brings out the kid in all of us. Our poor little fur babies always wind up getting put in some crazy get ups to dress up for the holiday. I have to say that I have yet to have success putting my Yorkie in any kind of Halloween costume, but I always love to see pictures of pooches all decked up for Halloween. Here are some links you can use to find some great costumes for your puppy or dog online. Some really cute ideas are listed below as some of my favorites (if only my dog would actually keep one on for longer than a minute!)
Always keep in mind that your dog should feel comfortable in their costume. Don’t put anything on them that is tight or can cause injury. If you live in a warm climate keep that in mind as well to make sure the material isn’t going to over heat your pup. I also would avoid any costume with small parts or strings that might be easy to chew and swallow or choke on. We don’t need any issues on Halloween that would hurt your fur babies.
