Over 30 grams of protein in this recipe
I am constantly looking for new ways to add more protein into my diet but lately I just don’t want to always be drinking a protein shake. Recently I found the Pro Pudding packets from BodyTech which have 25 grams of protein per serving. They come in vanilla and chocolate and all they require is adding some water to your thickness preference, a fridge to cool in and a spoon to enjoy. It really takes the guess work out of how to turn traditional whey protein powder into something that you can eat and not drink. What I did today was put 1 packet into a small bowl, put 8 tbsp of water, popped this mixture into the fridge once it was stirred up and then I took 1/2 of a bar of Power Crunch Energy Bar in the flavor Peanut Butter Fudge and crumbled it on top.
Ingredients:
♥ 1 packet of BodyTech Pro Pudding in Vanilla Flavor – link
♥ 1/2 Power Crunch Bar in the flavor Peanut Butter Fudge – link
♥ 8 tbsp of water
When you add the water and mix with the protein powder it will instantly start to turn into a pudding consistency so I suggest adding a bit of water as you go. I like mine to be a bit thicker so I only added 8 tbsp of water. I then put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes to cool a bit. Then I took half of the protein bar and crumbled it on top. These are like a wafer cookie and crumble very easily.
1/2 of the bar is 100 calories, 2.5 grams of fat and 6.5 grams of protein
1 packet of the Pro Pudding is 140 calories, 1 gram of fat and 25 grams of protein
The bowl in total is 240 calories, 3.5 grams of fat and 31.5 grams of protein!
So if you are looking for ways to add more protein grams into your daily macros, something to change up the typical protein shake and something you will really look forward to eating at the end of a long day you may want to try this dynamic duo!
