I am very excited to announce that Drybar is coming to us ladies here in New Jersey! As a slave to blow drying my own hair almost daily it is so refreshing to know that having a Drybar within a few miles of my home is now an option. There are days I’d rather leaving the beautifying to the experts, and we all know there are those days we are just too lazy to do a blow out at home. This new salon is going to be a great addition to Garden State Plaza – now you can shop, eat, browse and get a blow out all in one trip to the mall – Jersey Girl rejoice!
After much anticipation, Drybar will open in Paramus, New Jersey this winter. Drybar’s refreshingly simple concept: “No cuts. No color. Just blowouts” has captivated a legion of loyal clients nationwide. Now Drybar is heading to Westfield Garden State Plaza, an upscale shopping paradise located within 15 miles of New York City. This 1,525 square foot location will consist of 10 styling chairs, and will feature all of the signature elements that define the unique Drybar experience. With additional openings on the horizon in NYC, DC, Denver, Dallas and Chicago, the brand is on track to have over 50 locations nationwide by the end of 2015.
“We’ve been receiving tons of requests from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to come to New Jersey,” said Alli Webb, founder of Drybar. “Westfield Garden State Plaza was a no-brainer for its proximity to premier retail, restaurants and entertainment in the area. We’re thrilled to have found a location there!” Drybar joins the existing affluent retail mix currently at the center including Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Drybar provides professional blowouts at a flat price of just $45, regardless of hair length or thickness (wash included!).
The list of styles reads like a cocktail menu: the Cosmo (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (straight with a little body), the Southern Comfort (big hair, lots of volume), the Mai Tai (messy and beachy), the Manhattan (sleek and smooth) the Dirty Martini (tousled and textured) and for the little ladies, the Shirley Temple at $32. At the core of the experience is Drybar’s top-of-the-line customer service and obsessive attention to every last detail. The Garden State Plaza shop will feature Drybar’s signature design, including custom Italian chairs, tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in phone docking stations, and flat screens featuring your favorite chick flicks.
Drybar also offers a full line of professional hair styling products & tools, created for the perfect blowout, available at Sephora and Nordstrom locations across the U.S. and Canada. Founded by longtime stylist Alli Webb, Drybar has become a regular stop for celebs such as Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Garner, Chrissy Teigen, Zooey Deschanel, Emma Roberts, Lana Del Rey, Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rita Ora, Rose McGowan, Molly Sims, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Nina Garcia, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver—just to name a few!
Appointments can be booked online at www.thedrybar.com, through the Drybar iPhone app or by calling (877) 379-2279. I am looking forward to visiting myself once their doors open in December and will do a complete write up of my experience. I am also interested in seeing their full line of Drybar products in store, just in time for some holiday gifting for myself and others.
