In this video I demonstrate a ton of exercises that I love to do with kettle bells. I suggest purchasing a set of lighter kettle bells and one or two heavier ones. This will allow you to do heavier weight, less reps on some of the squat and dead lift exercises. I will link below to where you can purchase some for your at home workouts. Kettle bells make it easy to do exercises like swings, dead lifts and push presses. My home gym has a good range of weights and sizes but work with the weight that feels most comfortable to you. There are so many exercises you can do with kettle bells and some people just assume it can only be used for swings like you see in CrossFit. I personally like the handle on the kettle bell for some exercises more than a classic dumb bell, but it’s all up to your grip preference.

You can do any or all of these exercises in your home gym or apartment because they don’t require a ton of space to do. I try to share workouts that you can do in a gym or at home because I know not everyone has access to a gym. I love these kinds of circuit workouts because they challenge my body, get my heart pumping and break a sweat. You get the benefit of a calorie burn as well as some muscle building all in one! As I mention in the video I normally workout in the early morning before work. I like to workout as the first part of my day, it seems to get me in a positive mood and gives me more energy for the day ahead. Sadly some days I just can’t go in the morning, whether I have an early work meeting that I have to get to or a doctor appointment, so then I have to go at night. Usually at night time I am drained, stressed and tired so it’s so much harder for me to push myself to get to the gym, but I do it. Tonight’s workout felt really good and was a great way to get out some stress and aggression 🙂
I hope you enjoy this workout and start to add these into your routine. As always make sure to cool down after with some stretches and follow your workout with a BCAA drink for recovery.
