A lot of you have been asking for a video showing some of my favorite leg day exercises so I brought my Canon Vixia video camera with me into the gym and made you a 5 minute video showing a variety of my favorite moves for glutes, hamstrings, calves and quads. While many of these require some form of gym equipment you can make adjustments and do some of these at home or do a variation so that you can still do most of them. I had a few other exercises that I filmed but they didn’t make the edit, but you can also add in box jumps and step ups with weights to this routine.
I always warm up now doing some cardio, so before I started my workout on this day I did a HIIT cardio circuit on the Eliptical machine. This gets my body warmed up and ready to lift. I powered my workout with a scoop of C4 ripped and a scoop of Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy. I also love to watch videos on my iPad or iPhone when I do long periods of cardio so that the time goes by faster, so that is what I did on this day to get me through my cardio routine.
