I have been having a hard time not getting back logged on video footage, so this was a quick video clip I put together from stuff I had on my iPhone from the gym yesterday. One of the challenges of doing all of your own blogging, shooting, editing and posting (and having a full time job) is not getting so much footage that you just can’t ever get to processing it all! At least on my cell phone I can quickly use the iMovie app and string together some short clips and then upload to my YouTube channel. This day in the gym was not planned out, I just went in and did a bunch of exercises that I haven’t in a while instead of doing cardio (which was what was on my list for the day to do) but I wanted to still lift, just nothing heavy.
I have to say that this day in the gym was just one of those days my mind was NOT into working out. I just knew when I got there it would be a random workout, but I didn’t want to just go through the motions so I let my body and mind dictate what I did. I wanted to do some leg exercises so I did some seated squats with a 10 pound plate, I also did some seated glute work which I don’t do at all in my current workout program, some push ups on the bench, some mountain climbers, some dumb bell chest presses and then I also did some ab workouts. Overall I am glad I went and did something in the gym but I was not really 100% feeling well. Some days I just feel really sluggish (usually when my period is coming and my body just feels all out of whack) but I am proud I at least went in and did something.
