Slendertone Connect Abs System Review and Giveaway

Summer is here and it’s time to shed those layers and show off all the hard work you’ve put in at the gym all fall and winter season. With Slendertone’s Connect Abs system you can train your core even more with their easy to wear, and use, belt that works with your smartphone. Who knew that getting a six pack could be done while watching tv, sitting at your desk at work or even doing double duty while you’re working out?! It’s really just that simple and the entire system is fool proof, easy and fun to do. This post includes a giveaway as well as my own journey and review of adding this system to my current workout routine. Through the use of the app, a 6 week custom program and the device I will be sharing some before & after images with my followers on social media and readers as well as giving away one (1) of the devices to share the love and allow someone else to try it out as well as part of their fitness routine. I wear my belt while I work out and it belts and stretches and never gets in the way. I do cardio with it on, lift with it on, the only things I don’t do is train my core with it on because that would be silly wouldn’t it lol. I hide it easily under my workout clothes and no one knows its even on. It makes no noise and really forms to your body.

I simply searched for the Slendertone app on my iPhone in the iTunes App Store and downloaded it quickly, and for free, on my smartphone. In only a few moment I was set up and ready to pair the app with my Slendertone belt, input a few quick pieces of information about me, my current fitness level and desired goals and then sync my phone to the belt.

The belt is very comfortable to wear and completely adjustable. Once you get your belt you should charge the device but it does come with about half of the charge already so you can do your first session right away. Just remove the gel pads and apply them over the 3 sensor areas, apply to your stomach area, fasten and then relax. You can see your abs contract as the “waves” start and with the app you can change the amount of intensity you feel. I do around 20-25 range intensity but that was after a few sessions to get myself used to the sensation.

The toning session lasts for about 30 minutes and you can adjust the intensity as you go through the workout. At first I left it at the lowest intensity and then slowly increased it over the course of the half hour. It does not zap, sting or hurt at all. At the lowest setting I didn’t even realize it was doing anything, just a light warm sensation and a tiny bit of ripple movements of my ab muscles. As I increased the intensity I could feel it contracting the ab muscles – it was really working! You control everything from the ease of your iPhone so you can track, monitor adjust and look at your workouts over time right through the app. The belt also fits very well and is hidden underneath my workout clothing. It also stays put and does not move around like a sweat belt; the gel pads keep it neatly in place even while working out and sweating!

Overall Results:

Adding this to a workout routine and proper diet will surely help to sculpt your abs. I am really pleased with how easy this was to use and add to my daily lifestyle. It was even good to use WHILE working out to get it done and out of the way while in the gym. It does take getting used to (the feeling) of the contracting, but you can increase or decrease the intensity based on your own comfort level. Remember, abs can only be seen when you reduce overall body fat. If you have body fat covering your abs this belt is not going to help you to sculpt and see them, you will still need to lower your body fat and workout and eat properly. Over the course of the six week program I have surely seen an increase in definition in my abdominal area and would recommend this to anyone looking for an edge up on their current routine.

  14. Ok…so maybe I’m a little late to be “summer ready”…but I am trying to get wedding ready! We are set to say our “I Do’s” at the end of this year and I am determined to not be a frumpy bride! 4am HIIT workouts, evening weight sessions, starting the keto diet (loved your beginners blog for that by the way), & making conscious efforts to ensure I walk down the isle proud of all the work I’ve put it. I believe the slendertone would benefit me by adding just a little more “umph” to my routine. I realize that losing the extra layer of fat is the key to seeing the abs…but as I lose it would be so amazing to see abs peeking out underneath! I could use this when I’m at work, running errands, etc. So pretty pretty PLEASE pick me! I promise that I will put it to good use!

  15. I struggle to find results with core workouts, because of that, I dont do them as much as I should. But sitting in a desk for 8+ hours a day can be a.great time to get an ab workout in! After the work, its time for the beach!
