Leg day workout Sunday 9/11/16
I am back in action now that the fall is here. There’s nothing I love more than being able to focus on lifting and less on cardio and that happens after the summer is officially over. I have been lifting a bit lighter with higher reps in the last month or two. That is typically how I train in the summertime in order to keep myself but to drop body fat and look a lot more lean.
5 minute warm up on the stationary bike to get knees and hips open and ready to go
5×5 with increasing weight from 25lb plates to 35lb plates
5×5 using Olympic bar and 35lb plates
10×4 using a 65lb dumbbell
Shoulder width Stance Leg Press
8×4 with 45lb plates each side
Standing Calf Raises on Smith Machine
15×4 with 10lb plates on each side
10×4 at 10-20lb unilateral
30 minutes level 6-10 stair master session
