I have been following a ketogenic diet for the last two years. I cut out many carbs years ago, but got rid of most of them overtime. I used to eat “healthy carbs” but even those I felt dragged me down, made me tired and fatigued, feel bloated and inflamed, and then finally just made most of my diet consist of high fiber vegetables, healthy oils, fats, nuts, seeds, seafood and occasionally berries. I read on one of your previous post that you should ease into the keto diet. Can you explain that a little more? Does that mean you cheat and just gradually do it or are there different foods you recommend to help ease into it? Thanks
For me I was never a huge carb eater, but over time I ate less and less carbs. I find that people who are big carb eaters, I mean like pasta, wheat, bread, etc have a harder tiem adjusting in the first week or two of keto since it is such a shock to the system. I went from low carb to keto.
